Has anyone noticed the phrase indigo children? It keeps popping up all around us. Who are they and what do they mean to the world today? These children that are more prevalent today than in anytime in our recollected history are extremely intelligent and are in tune with the world. They have deep feelings for the forests and the flowers and the animals and seem to know man for who and what he is. I can’t help but wonder about the giants of the past such as Einstein who grew up with a “learning disability” only to be able to solve the most complicated equations known to man. Copernicus knew many years before Columbus discovered American that the world was not flat. He figured all this out from the positions of the stars with his newly invented telescope. Surely he must have been an indigo child. Then there were Leonardo da Vinci, Alexander Graham Bell, Samuel Morse, Michelangelo, Pissaro, Picasso, Degas, Rodin, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, the Maya, the Aztecs, the pyramid builders and the list goes on and on. I believe the reason so many indigo children are appearing today is that the world is reaching toward a pinnacle. Perhaps this is what the date 12/21/2012 means for us.
These children are our hope for a brighter future. Their intelligence and insistence on doing things their way may just save us from ourselves.
How do you know if you have an indigo child in your family? I say that you will know it the minute he or she is born with eyes wide open and a look that says “come on world; I am ready for you”. As they grow you will be able to recognize them by their clear eyes and the purpose in their carriage. These children are not patient and trying to make them understand that they have to “wait” for anything is a lost cause. They are extremely creative and their imaginations let them run the gamut from pretending to be a fireman to playing like they are beavers building a dam. They won’t want to be bothered with homework in school but they will always know all the information the teacher is trying to get across to them (even if they don’t appear to be listening). These children do not have ADD, ADHD or dyslexia. They are super intelligent and their IQ probably cannot even be tested by our standards today.
These children have come here to earth at this particular time with a special mission. They are to bring us all together. They are going to be the teachers and we are going to be the students. Watching them grow will be an experience that will change your life. If you have a child such as this in your life do everything you possibly can to assist them in their mission. Find them a good alternative school. Do not expect them to thrive in a government school where everything is cookie cutter perfectly set out. Montessori schools, Waldorf schools, home schooling, private schools; these are areas where they will thrive. Begin their education as early as possible. Age 2 is not too soon to put them into a learning environment. These children write cursive writing by age 4; add and subtract on their own; teach themselves to read.
One thing about indigo children is that they know they have lived before. They recall past lives and often refer to a time “when I was a daddy with children of my own” or other references to having lived before. One child I know asked me if I remembered when we were both little and lived in the jungle together. He said his grandmother was our mother. I said ”well, no, I don’t remember; refresh my memory” He then said “well, I didn’t like the lions and you loved the elephants.” Clearly, his memories had not faded in this new life. That can be a problem when the indigo child remembers that he or she used to be an adult. They resist having others tell them what to do and often complain that “I want to be the boss again”. These children are old souls and have brought with them the memories of past mistakes and intolerances. They are filled with compassion and know how to heal this world. We just have to listen to them; they have chosen to be here and to lead us. They have “been there; done that; got the tee shirt”. Spirit wants us to know that there are leaders among us. Sometimes seeking assistance from an empath can help us understand. Past life readings are often helpful. Normal psychologists do nothing for these children if they are in trouble. We have to listen to them and they will tell us what they need.
