Ahh, Meditation. That divine condition where the mind and body are consciously relaxed, focused, still. Mastering meditation will surely lead to a more positive outlook on life, and better awareness.

Meditation refers to a condition where your body and mind are consciously relaxed and focused. Practitioners of this art account increased awareness, focus, and concentration, as well as a more positive outlook in life.

I will talk about other more advanced forms of meditation in later blogs but for now let's stick to a simple, essential guideline. Negative thoughts , worries, fears and doubts are concepts that do not serve our higher selves and clearing our mind of these useless clutter makes it ripe for a higher vibration frequency.

Since dark thoughts darken our aura and our mind, the opposite occurs when thinking positively, it purifies our aura and clears the mind so that it may center on the deeper more meaningful aspects of your current circumstance.

People ask me how they should position their bodies during meditation. I say anything comfortable, but not so much that you fall asleep right away. Sitting is fine but standing is also. The more in tune you become with the divine energy that speaks to us during meditation, you will want fewer and fewer sensory inputs like sounds and light.

Wearing the right clothes can be helpful too. Make sure it is loose and comfortable. Atmosphere should be relaxing and soothing. A place where you feel centered.

And last but least, to complete that soothing atmosphere that is just right for meditation, use pleasing aromas like incense and candles during your session.

During meditation "listen" closely to the universe for answers to questions that have been heavy on your spirit. The benefits can be incredible and relaxation is something we can all use more of.
