![]() Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a map of your life from start to finish? What would you say if I told you that everyone does? Palmistry isn’t just “fortune telling”. It is an ancient study of the hand and tells us a lot about ourselves such as: health, strength, love, marriage, individuality, your successes, talents, travel, spirituality. You have two hands and they present two different views of your life. LEFT: what you come in with (your potential) and RIGHT: what you do with it (that hand can change as you do). We may be predestined to a certain path but that does not mean we cannot change out future if we are given a warning. We use palmistry as a map and change our predestination or destiny when we change the way we live. Don’t count on kissing a frog and turning him into a handsome prince. This isn’t the kind of “change” you need. Your life line surrounds the mound of the thumb. The length can show vitality and long life or show you a life that may be cut short. This is relatively easy for even you to read. What can a person who has been trained in palmistry see that you cannot? He or she will be able to see signs of aggression, imagination, a strong will, a sexually charged nature. There are little clues that help the reader find luck and obstacles. To have your hand read is to have your life map exposed for you to understand. Many of the philosophers who have gone before us have said that “know thyself” is the first rule of understanding your role in life and your place in the world. The Spirit tells us that self knowledge is necessary for self mastery. The origins of palmistry go back to the origin of man. If you can imagine the first people of the East whose philosophies and wisdom we are just learning now to understand, you will find they had learned to look into the hand for their map. The hand was considered a connection to the head, heart and soul. The ancients studied man as we study a new machine that can decipher DNA. We will probably never know who first told us that the hand is the map to the soul but we find it all over the world in history. It can be traced in an unbroken line through the history of the East. The East has the longest history of learning and even the oldest scriptures from Hindu Vedas mention the use of palmistry. So many religious groups want to make palmistry a thing of Satan but the truth is that palmistry was an accepted way to understand a person. There are references in the Old Testament scriptures that are inconsistent with the Church’s dislike of palmistry. The Jews who are called God’s Chosen People in the Old and New Testament learned about signs in the hand from living in captivity among other nations. That palmistry found its way into Proverbs (3:16) “Length of days is in her right hand, riches and honor are in her left”, 1 Samuel (26:18) “What evil is in my hand” often goes un-remarked from the pulpit. The strength of a hand shake is still considered important in business and personal meetings. This is no coincidence. Palmistry deals with making an assessment through only examining the hand. The client does not have to give his or her name, job type, marriage status, or any other information to the reader. The reader looks at the lines and the clues in the palm to read the future. Palmistry and Astrology go hand-in-hand so it is helpful to your reader to know your birth sign. If you are one of the rare people who can’t answer the age old pick up question “What’s your sign?”, give your reader your birth date and he or she can figure it out. Currently, we are in ARIES, the RAM, a Cardinal Fire sign that is masculine, aggressive. This sign runs through the calendar date of April 21. The relationships of the planets and the signs to the body can help you further understand the reading of your palm. It is always important to remember that Spirit speaks to us in many ways that are not even evident to us in daily life. If you take the things you learn to heart and try to live your life according to your own Karmic destiny, you will learn to recognize weaknesses that must be overcome; strengths that you should rely on. Spirit does not leave us alone to figure all this out for ourselves. It is all there for us to see and understand. We only have to find the right tool (or person) to assist us. Listen for Spirit to speak to you and then follow the map you are given.
