The Soul and the Spirit
When the Spirit made the planet and we were brought into consciousness here what do you suppose was the plan? Were we all destined to fight each other and try to gain superiority over each other day in and day out? I have found answers in my meditations that tell me that the Spirit had a different plan for his creations. We were all supposed to live together here in peace and enjoy all the great things He had planned for us and then He decided to tweak us just a little and give us something He called “Free Will”.
The Story of the First Son
After Creation, the Great Spirit sent his First Son down to tell the people he had first placed here in the wonderful lushness of greenery what was expected of them. The First Son was supposed to stay on the planet for awhile and work with His creations until they sort of got the hang of it. The only restriction put on the newly created beings was that they were not allowed to know the same secrets as the First Son. The legends that abound with creation myths and stories tell us of an evil snake that wound its way among the first beings and taunted them until they broke the sacred rules and ate of the Tree of Knowledge. The story of the First Son tells us that there was no such creature at all. All of the creatures of the wild had been placed on the planet by the Great Spirit and they each one had a place in the great Garden of Creation. The First Beings were several, in this story.
There were more than one group of beings and they were to interact with each other and to live out their lives. These beings were being granted something that we here on Earth now can never have; lives that span the ages. This is why the stories in the first books tell us of people that have lived for more than 500 years. They were spiritual beings who were supposed to live forever.
The First Son was not a ruler but more of a benevolent Uncle or Father to the First Beings. It was to Him they were supposed to turn if they had questions because only He could make a decision for the Great Spirit. The First Beings were granted feelings and free will but it was never explained to anyone except the First Son. Time passed and the First Beings began to see that the First Son could do things that they could not. As imperfect beings, they became jealous and started to plot to obtain the knowledge that the First Son had. In the end, they gathered together and killed the First Son. They dismembered His body and buried its pieces in the four corners of the Earth; from this we have our directions North, South, East and West. His heart was divided into twelve pieces and given out to the leaders of the 12 groups of the First Beings. Everyone else was given to drink from the blood that was saved. From this desecration, the knowledge of Good and Evil came into being.
The Great Spirit wept and the tears caused a Great Flood over the entire world. When he had completed his mourning, the Spirit vowed that he would never try again and for a long period of time the earth lay in darkness.
The Great Mother cried to the Great Spirit and asked Him to reconsider. Thus the world was recreated and beings were once again placed upon its face. The Great Spirit agreed never to destroy the world again by letting His terrible tears flow without restraint. Our Civilizations began to form and many acted badly like the First Beings had. They were allowed to be destroyed by their own hands but their souls were allowed to return again and again until their lessons had been learned.
Many centuries passed and the Great Spirit again sent his son to earth to speak for Him to his people. Again he was rejected and killed. This time the Great Spirit did not destroy the world but gave them another chance to prove that Beings could become Gods if given another chance.
Our souls return time and again today just like the ancient legend says. We have to learn our karmic lessons and change from these lessons or we will just continue to repeat the mistakes that we make daily in our world. Because the Spirit has allowed us as beings to make our own decisions we often make the wrong ones and take the wrong path. We need to learn from the ancients and their wisdom. We need to seek the assistance of anyone who has the ability to channel or talk to these spirits so that they can guide us in the future or our future will come to an end. This is another lesson of the planets.
