WHAT IS THE TOWER

WHAT IS THE TOWER

I was doing a reading today and the Tower appeared. Before I could say anything, the person got a look of dread on his face and demanded of me to “give it to him straight”.

I tried to explain that the tower doesn’t always mean something terrible is about to happen but he wouldn’t let me get it out. He was getting more upset by the minute. “Hey” I said “It means unexpected liberation.” He stopped panicking and raised his head. “Really” he said. The smile was back on his face. I knew I had his attention back.

“Look, this is a breakthrough card. It means that it is time for you to rethink everything you think you know or want. This card is about upheaval so be ready. There is about to be a dramatic change. It might be good and it could be bad. Whatever is coming is going to rock your world and change your life.”

He tried to get me to pick a few more cards to “clear up” the picture but I knew it wouldn’t do any good. The cards know just how much information to give you. The rest is for you to figure out. I told him this and asked him to give me a call in the next few days if there was anything I could do to help him. I should say at this point that, although I did not personally know him, he had been a client of mine before. He had always been pretty closed mouthed when he came for a reading. He didn’t want to give me any clues. I always teased him about testing me to see if I was a fake. He wasn’t; I’m not.

I laughed about it for awhile and then went on with the rest of my day. Two days later I got a call. “I would like to ask you something” he said. “That tower thingy that showed up. You said it was BIG, didn’t you?” “Yeah,” I said. “Could it be “you aren’t who you thought you were” big?”

I was confused. He started to tell me a story about a letter he had received from a British law firm asking him to call the New York office and make an appointment. He reluctantly did this wondering if this was some sort of new take on those unsolicited letters arriving by email that say you have an inheritance.  The story was that he had been raised by a family friend when his father had become too ill to raise him. The friend moved to the United States. The father was never heard from again. He had just found out who he really was. “Yes,” I said “That does qualify as a breakthrough moment. No wonder you got the tower.” He asked for another reading and I did one which showed him traveling across the water (my guess is he’s going to England). There weren’t any pentacles involved so I don’t believe he will be inheriting a lot of money but there were lots of cups so maybe he will be meeting a big family who will offer him a lot of love. The Star was the final card. That’s the fairy godmother card. It is one of hope and inspiration and the knowledge that things might finally go his way. He left with renewed hope that his life was about to turn around. I left with a big tip for all the good news.
